Playgroup

Children start to explore the world around them as soon as they are born. At Ninos Nest the play group curriculum enables children to continue their exploration. Early experiences in the first few years of life are critical for acquisition of skills as maximum brain development happens during this time. We at Ninos Nest pay special attention to kids in this age group to maximize their potential.

Nursery

Quality education early on in preschool sets a firm foundation for the future academic development of a child. At Ninos Nest the nursery curriculum provides the right set of activities to help children achieve their learning goals and establish a firm footing in academics. At Ninos Nest we focus on helping the kids in this age group to making learning a fun activity and developing the right tools to learn efficiently and effectively.

KG1 & KG2

At Nino’s nest, the Kindergarten (KG) curriculum ensures a smooth transition to formal schooling with meaningful and progressive learning experiences. In addition to age-appropriate activities in Kindergarten, which prepare a child for success in formal school various extracurricular activities are also incorporated to develop a well-rounded student for further education.

Daycare

Children feel at home and are free to explore, play and learn in a pre-scheduled manner.

Non-scholastic Activities

Dance and Music:

Children’s creative abilities are uncovered using movement, music and imaginative play in our dance and music classes for all age groups.

Drawing:

Children are effective communicators and through drawing, qualified teachers help them freely express their thoughts, ideas and feelings.

Tutorials:

Children are given focused attention so that they may be less likely to be distracted and are taught by experienced teachers in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Montessori Method

The Montessori Method of education is a child centric educational approach that celebrates and nurtures each child’s intrinsic desire to learn. The method developed by Dr Maria Montessori, is based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. It is a view of the child as one is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive thoughtfully prepared learning environment.

Play Way Method

Play way in education aims to introduce the spirit of play. The methods and techniques used for imparting education must be able to create an environment in which the child can learn his lesson or acquire the desired knowledge. Knowledge should be communicated in an interesting manner. Nothing should be forced upon the child, not even any game be forced upon the child, as then it becomes work.

Project Method

Project methods is one of the modern methods of teaching in which, the student’s point of view is given importance in designing the curriculum and content of studies. This method is based on the philosophy of pragmatism and the principles of learning by doing. In this strategy pupils perform constructive activities in natural condition. A project is a list of real life that has been imparted to the school. It demands work from the pupils.

Theme Based Method

A theme based curriculum means that each skill area of the curriculum is connected to a topic which we refer to as a theme. A thematic approach to teaching involves integrating all subject areas together under one of them for a longer period.
